Little kids get simple giraffes with bold outlines, school-age kids get savanna and safari scenes, and teens and adults get two pattern-filled giraffes.

Fun facts about giraffes

Giraffes are the tallest animals on Earth, and a newborn calf is already about six feet tall. Their dark tongues can be 18 inches long, perfect for wrapping around thorny acacia branches.

Every giraffe has its own patch pattern, and the patches help them stay cool by releasing heat. A giraffe has the same number of neck bones as people, seven, but each one can be almost a foot long.

Coloring tips for giraffes

Giraffe patches range from orange-brown to deep chocolate, with cream lines between them. Color the patches darker on the back and lighter toward the legs, and give the mane and tail tip a dark brown.

Savanna scenes look warm with golden grass, olive-green acacia trees and an orange or pink sky at sunset. Online, fill each patch with one tap, then use the brush for the ossicones and eyelashes.
