Coloring stripes, wings and honeycomb
Alternate yellow and black bands on the body, and leave the wings white or tint them pale blue so they look see-through. For honeycomb, use golden yellow, amber and orange in neighboring cells to make the honey look like it glows.
Bee facts for the classroom
Bees help plants make fruit and seeds by carrying pollen from flower to flower, and many of the foods we eat depend on them. Honeybees share directions to flowers with a waggle dance, and a single hive can have one queen and thousands of worker bees.
